Cybersecurity Market Screening and Structured Solution Assessment

Target Group

IT departments and procurement departments in healthcare organisations and care centres.

Trainers

employees of INTERSPREAD and external expert

Agenda

1. Overview on the cybersecurity market in European and international context

2. Tools to run efficient market screening and the identification of relevant solution suppliers

3. Method for structured solution assessment based on technical and non-technical criteria

4. Introduction of procurement guidelines for cybersecurity solutions published by ENISA

5. Interactive working session with all participants based on provided materials

Description

This workshop will provide IT departments and security staff with the ability to run continuous market screenings, to define the relevant geographic and demographic market segments related to the purpose of the respective market research and identify the main market players, emerging companies or niche players and their respective product lines and services. Once the relevant market players are identified, the second step is the solution assessment, in which the product- and service lines of the identified companies are individually assessed, analysed and categorised, to derive an overarching benchmarking scheme, allowing a comparison between the different suppliers.

These specific capabilities are examined for their quantitative (e.g. performance indicators, measurements, capacities, etc.) and qualitative criteria (e.g. features, key technologies, deployment scenarios, supported technical standards etc.), to develop a baseline for an objective benchmarking scheme, which is tailored to the product or service examined.

Format:

Learning will be achieved through presentations of relevant information as well as through interactive working sessions in groups. The presentations include relevant content and information regarding the European cybersecurity market, relevant solution categories, training offers and various capabilities and information services. The presentations will later also be provided, in an adopted version, to the participants for future use in their own presentations. The interactive working sessions will be supported by practical materials like market mapping tools, solution assessment scoring sheets, or training curricula structuring guides.
